B.A. Sociology from The University of South Alabama in 1991

Alternative Masters in Special Education from University of South Alabama in 2009.

Recipient of Cronis Award for Excellence in Scholarship from the University of South Alabama in 2010.


For seven years I had the privilege of working for the Mobile Mental Health Center at the LeMoyne School with children with severe behavioral problems. I completed my 10 years at MMHC as an Education Specialists, training all employees.

For the past 15 years I have worked here at Lott Middle School. First, in the first aid room, and then as a Title I specialists. In 2006, after entering the Alternative Masters program at USA, I began teaching. For five years I served as an Inclusion teacher in the Special Education Department. Beginning in the 2011 school year, I began teaching both 7th and 8th grade Social Studies . At this time, I am teaching 8th grade Math Enrichment and 8th  Grad World History. In addition, I am now serving as the Title I Facilitator.


My name is Rhonda Harrison and I am from the Citronelle community. I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Citronelle school feeder pattern. I am married and have three children. As a family, we attend church in the Citronelle area. I am vested in this community and feel it a privilege to teach in this community.
