September 17, 2008, Mobile. Al.,- During the weeks of September 21-October 3, 2008 the Mobile County Public School System will administer climate surveys to teachers, students (K-6), parents, business partners, community members, classroom employees, other employees, and central office employees. The result of the surveys will provide baseline data on how we can improve lines of communication. Surveys will be provided on the System;s Web and SchoolMessenger (parent notification system). The results will be analyzed by the Mobile County Public School System administration in cooperation with the University of South Alabama. A communication plan will be designed based on the data. A second survey will be administered during the weeks of April 20-May 1, 2009 to determine the areas of growth in communication between the MCPSS system and home, school and community.
